Mollie is generous, and I know she won't mind that I steal her idea for HAIKU THURSDAY (a distant cousin of Egg Thursday, perhaps?). But I will only write one haiku, because I just got home and it's kind of late.
A familiar face
On New York City Transit
Oh, humanity!
(Running into someone you know on the subway is probably the best thing ever. The subway is such a lonely place otherwise; you've always got your game face on, there are delays, hobos spit on you, etc. Any reminder that you're not alone, that you're not just a face in the crowd, is amazing. It happened to me tonight in a particularly awesome way; but that's a story for another time.)

Post a commentYes, we can share haiku thursday. :)
I have an alternate suggestion for writing projects to satisfy this tweeker. My friend has a band project coming up in November explained here: http://aluminumalbum.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2008-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-05%3A00&updated-max=2009-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-05%3A00&max-results=2.
If you write song lyrics (verse, chorus, maybe a bridge) and suggest a genre then we will write the music and there is a very good chance it could be recorded by her quite awful but absolutely hilarious band, later this year.
you can e-mail your creations to me at lindgrensavage@gmail.com, or just post them as I am an avid tweeker reader.
