I admit, I was going to go back to coffee. But this morning, as I took my first sip, I discovered that the coffee tasted bad! Not the coffee itself, but the liquid; it tasted too thick, as if I was drinking gritty molasses. Plus, I felt a little jittery later that afternoon. I think, and this is brave, but I think I'm going off coffee. We'll see how long that lasts, but that 2weeker might end up being a life-changing event.
What's up next? Justin is working on a site redux, so prepare for massive changes. The poll for the next 2weeker will be up soon, but hopefully we'll hear from the other authors soon.

Post a commentis it possible you just had a bad cup of coffee?
i'm trying to woo you back to the dark side.
So, as a professional lurker, nows the time to add a comment. I didn't take part in the two weeker but when it started, I was already about 2 weeks in to a goal of no soda for at least a month. Thus, by the end, I had my month with no soda whatsoever. I really only drink water, milk, soda, and the very occasional tea and juice; so it matches up for the most part.
I found that I didn't really physically withdrawal as much as notice the psychological associations I seem to have with soda. Anytime I had fast food, or was out to dinner, or at a friends house (where soda flows like nectar... from somewhere), it was less physical, and more my brain saying... hey soda goes with this, why are you not drinking it?
Now I notice that anything overly sweet, drink or food, bothers me more. I just don't want as much of them. I know if I go back to soda; I could easily tip back into the one a day or more habit; and probably not have the issue with sweets, but I don't think I will.
